Ed Sheeran Teases New Music, But He’s ‘Going to Sit On It for a Bit’

Ed Sheeran revealed that he's been working on some new songs, but doesn't have any plans to release them this year.

Subtract did earn Sheeran a Grammy nomination earlier this year for Best Pop Vocal Album, though that prize ultimately went to his friend Taylor Swift for Midnights. But, Sheeran did come away with his first Emmy Award, winning Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for his Ted Lasso finale tune, “A Beautiful Game.” He’s set to play a show in Hollywood, Florida tonight, and later this month, on May 22, he’ll celebrate the 10th anniversary of his album X (Multiply) with a special concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
