Ed Sheeran Lands Eighth No. 1 on U.K. Albums Chart With Greatest Hits Compilation


Ed Sheeran’s '+–=÷× (Tour Collection)' greatest hits compilation is the U.K.’s first No. 1 album of 2025, and his eighth overall on the charts.

The collection is made up of Sheeran’s hits from his Mathematical series of records: 2011’s+( Plus), 2014’s ×( Multiply), 2017’s ÷( Divide), 2021’s=( Equals) and 2023’s –( Subtract). The album received a boost over the festive period when it was issued on vinyl for the first time, ultimately earning the compilation the top spot in 2025’s opening week (Jan. 3). His upcoming slate will kick off in Bhutan on Jan. 24, before heading to a number of cities in India, China, Qatar and more, later returning to European stadiums throughout the summer.
