Ed Sheeran Honors Veteran Warner Music Exec Max Lousada at Music Business U.K. Awards

Ed Sheeran paid moving tribute to outgoing Warner Music exec Max Lousada at the Music Business U.K. Awards in London Tuesday night.

Lousada was honored with the Sir George Martin Award, which recognizes an executive with a track record of fostering meaningful artist and songwriter relationships and has earned widespread respect in the creative community. I want to shout out the wise and generous mentors, some of them are here tonight, Korda [Marshall], who brought me in from the cold, Lyor [Cohen], who toughened me up and to all my team at Warner. To my U.K. crew, Tony [Harlow], Joe [Kentish], Briony [Turner], Ed [Howard], Jen [Ivory] and everyone at Warners, it’s truly been an incredibly special journey.
