EasyJet and Jet2 remind passengers to check wheeled luggage dimensions to avoid extra fees

EasyJet and Jet2 are among the airlines that have a little-known rule about wheeled suitcases, which passengers need to be aware of before heading to the airport as it could cost you money

Some airlines enforce strict size limits and holidaymakers found with oversized luggage may face additional charges at the check-in desk or airport gate. EasyJet utilises baggage sizers at its check-in desks and airport gates, and passengers may be asked to place their bag inside to demonstrate it fits. Jet2's policy is crystal clear: "You can take one piece of hand luggage onboard free of charge, as long as it weighs no more than 10kg and is no larger than 56cmx45cmx25cm including wheels and handles."
