EastEnders' Reiss Colwell makes double confession after killing wife Debbie
EastEnders' Reiss Colwell is forced to come clean to partner Sonia Fowler about his latest crime after killing his wife Debbie, who has been in a coma for some time
Debbie had been in a coma for some time following a stroke, and Reiss (played by Jonny Freeman) turned to murder to resolve his financial issues during Wednesday's episode of the BBC soap (July 24). The accountant also swindled £13.5k from Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), and her business partner Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) is hot on his trail to reclaim the stolen funds, which Reiss had planned to invest - or that's what he told the pair. While visiting the care home, Reiss and Sonia unexpectedly run into Debbie's parents Brenda and Hugh Collins, portrayed by Michael Bertenshaw and Nichola McAuliffe.
