EastEnders fans have been left horrified as Teddy Mitchell's dark side was exposed, but away from the BBC soap, actor Roland Manookian has a link to a Walford icon

Since his arrival in Walford last year as Billy Mitchell's (Perry Fenwick) long-lost half-brother, the cheeky chappy Teddy, portrayed by Roland Manookian, has remained somewhat of an enigma. Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) is concealing the fact that Zack Hudson (James Farrar), not Teddy, is the biological father of her teenage son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman). However, her confession triggered a usually composed Teddy to fly into a rage, smashing household items and berating Sharon for treating him like Phil and not sharing these issues sooner, leaving her shaken and distressed.
