EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy, who has been playing Sonia Fowler since 1993, revealed that she once auditioned for a major role in Gavin and Stacey but didn't get the part. The podcast also saw appearances from fellow BBC stars Adrian Scarborough (Pete), Robert Wilfort (Jason), Christine Gernon (director), and a surprise visit from James Corden. On the podcast, Robert Wilfort, who plays Jason, raved about the impeccable writing of Ruth Jones and James Corden behind the hit series Gavin and Stacey, claiming there's hardly any need for off-the-cuff acting.
