EastEnders star Heather Peace, 49, reveals devastating secret breast cancer battle as she gets wig fitted after undergoing months of chemotherapy treatment


The 49-year-old, best known for her role as Eve Panesar-Unwin in the BBC soap, told Instagram followers she has completed chemotherapy.

Heather also expressed gratitude for her family, praising her wife Ellie and their three daughters – Annie, Jessie and Lola – for their love and encouragement. In an interview with their fertility clinic Agora in Brighton the actress revealed the most stressful part of the process was waiting to find out if her eggs had implanted. Heather was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2023, and has continued working on EastEnders throughout parts of her treatment (pictured right, on the show with co-star Balvinder Sopal)
