EastEnders star Heather Peace has revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer in October and has since undergone chemotherapy and surgery, with her treatment now finished

Heather, 49, known for her role as Eve Panesar-Unwin on the soap, revealed her health struggles in an emotional Instagram post on Monday night, 12 May. Reflecting on her experience, she shared: "I woke up this morning and it was like the end of the London Marathon; I'd turned onto The Mall and could see the giant clock and the finish line. Balvinder Sopal commented with a string of heart emojis, while Diane Parish shared: "Tough and courageously vulnerable.
