It is EastEnder's 40th birthday and the BBC has gone all out to mark the occasion, with an hour-long special on Wednesday, following by a live broadcast tonight. Martin ( James Bye) and his ex-wife Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) were among many Walford residents trapped in the Queen Vic after Tuesday night's horror explosion. While antagonist Reiss Colwell was finally brutally killed off and fan-favourite Anita Dobson made a surprise return as the iconic Angie Watts.
