Legendary actress Sylvia Syms, who starred in countless productions over her six decade career left a whopping £1.43 million in her will when she died in January 2023 at 89

Eastenders legend Sylvia Syms, who played the role of Peggy Mitchell's pal Olive Woodhouse in Albert Square from 2007 to 2010 has left over £1 million in her will. The huge cash sum of £1.43 million included £5,000 donations to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art school and £2k each to Intermission and Age UK. Sylvia shot to fame in the 1950s in Ice Cold in Alex, and went on to achieve an incredible six decade career, in which she starred in over 120 film, TV and theatre productions, before retiring in 2019.
