EastEnders fans taken aback by character's 'unrecognisable' appearance off-screen
EastEnders character Reiss Colwell is known for his geeky, old-fashioned style, so soap viewers were shocked to see how the actor really looks away from the BBC set
His unkempt hair and fondness for clothes in shades of brown might not lend themselves to soap heartthrob status, but viewers were left stunned when they saw what actor Jonny Freeman actually looks like in real life. The star is almost unrecognisable in an acting headshot shared on social media that is worlds away from his character's geeky image, and left soap fans shocked at how different he was on screen. The character entered the BBC One soap as the late Dot Branning's (June Brown) great nephew, who stuck around after the funeral to help Sonia wrestle with a staggering inheritance tax bill which led to an unlikely romance.
