EastEnders fans shocked as they realise The Six storyline ‘inspired’ by huge US TV series

According to super-fans online, EastEnders' dramatic storyline, The Six, could have been created with a little bit of inspiration from a pretty popular US soap drama

There appears to be some parallels between the two storylinesAccording to one viewer on Reddit, EastEnders bosses could have been influenced by hit soap opera, Desperate Housewives. At the end of the story, a character that is sick and dying, (just like Nish), takes the blame for the murder and all the women all walk free. Similar to EastEnders - which saw six women plot together to cover up the murder of a man - US show Desperate Housewives followed Carlos who accidentally kills his wife Gabrielle's stepfather, Alejandro, who raped her in her childhood and returns to inflict more harm.
