EastEnders fans gobsmacked as they realise they've been holidaying with Denzel star Jaden Lageda
Jaden Ladega has become well known to BBC EastEnders viewers in his role as Denzel Danes, but it seems the 18 year old isn't so easily recognised away from the screen
After landing the role on EastEnders, he commemorated his new gig with a snapshot next to the iconic Albert Square sign, announcing on Instagram: "It's been over 2 months filming and 2 weeks on air, I would like to thank the cast and crew @bbceastenders. Again fans expressed surprise at running into the young celebrity, with one person commenting: "Hi I didn’t even relize who u was wen we was on hoilday with u we r the Liverpool couple who u spoke to every day yr a lovely lad xxx." Chris Clenshaw, the executive producer of EastEnders, said: "It was imperative for us to work alongside WithYou and individuals with lived experiences of steroid usage to accurately present and portray Denzel's storyline."
