In recent episodes, viewers have seen teenager Lily shouldering household duties as Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) grapples with her grief following Martin Fowler's (James Bye) death. Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) found out that Arthur had been holding onto Martin's phone and listening to Stacey's messages, fuelling his hope that his father would return.
