In an interview with the magazine, he spoke of how Ruth had been supporting him amid his ongoing health woes, saying that he "couldn't thank her enough", however, he went on to suggest that there were tensions between the couple. Claiming that Eamonn's health battle has played a large part in the relationship, one source has explained that Ruth felt more a 'carer' than wife. Talking to MailOnline, they continued: "He has had a torrid time with his health, he's in constant pain, and the truth is he can't contain how miserable it makes him."
