Eamonn Holmes returns to TV with stinging jibes after Ruth Langsford split
GB News viewers saw Eamonn Holmes back on the TV today but if anyone thought a bank holiday of headlines would leave the star pulling his punches, they would be wrong.
The presenter, 64, fronted his Breakfast with Eamonn and Isobel show on GB News from 6am, following the announcement that his 27-year romance to Loose Women's Ruth is over. However, though newspaper front pages about his marriage were not shown in the early paper review, the star had no problem making his views known on other aspects of the news. Eamonn also accused the government of "stealing" from "people who are out there earning" with retrospective taxes during an interview with MP Mel Stride where he spoke dismissively of "the department of thievery".
