Eamonn Holmes has finally spoken out on his split from wife of 14 years Ruth Langsford, thanking fans for their support as he gave an on-air statement during GB News
Appearing on the show after a bank holiday weekend off, Eamonn briefly addressed his personal life, sharing: "Just before we move on I'd like to thank people for their support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Claiming that Eamonn's health battle has played a large part in the relationship, one source has explained that Ruth felt more a 'carer' than wife. Talking to MailOnline, they continued: "He has had a torrid time with his health, he's in constant pain, and the truth is he can't contain how miserable it makes him."
