Eagles Donate $2.5 Million to Los Angeles’ FireAid Benefit Concert

Eagles Donate $2.5 Million to Los Angeles' Fireaid Benefit at Intuit Dome

The Eagles have pledged $2.5 million to FireAid, the Jan. 30 benefit concert for Los Angeles fire victims to be held at Intuit Dome. The event, billed as “an evening of music and solidarity” and produced by the Irving Azoff family alongside usual competitors Live Nation and AEG Presents, will donate proceeds toward an organization created to rebuild Los Angeles infrastructure, as well as support displaced families and advance fire prevention technologies and strategies. The catastrophic fires started Jan. 7 in the Pacific Palisades on the west side of Los Angeles, and quickly spread to other areas over the next few days, including Altadena, Studio City and Runyon Canyon.
