The Eagles have kicked off the fundraising efforts for the upcoming FireAid benefit concert in Los Angeles, donating $2.5 million to the cause, according to Billboard. Although the lineup has not been announced, the concert is being organized by some of the biggest names in music — Live Nation, AEG and the Irving Azoff family — which will likely bring in A-list talent to support the night. Funds will also be directed toward efforts to rebuild the Los Angeles infrastructure and investments in technology aimed at preventing fires in the future.
