E! Entertainment Brazil to Bow LC Barreto’s Singing Reality Competition Series ‘Vocalizando’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Competitors are chosen from impoverished favela districts of Rio de Janeiro.
“When filming in Rio’s favelas, we encountered many talented amateur young female singers there, a true music treasure unknown by the rest of the city. Barreto said Jeniffer Nascimento was selected as the show host because she is a talented and charismatic singer and actress with a background similar to those of the participants. She added the series’ goal is to empower young women from the impoverished communities and to offer talented amateur singers a chance to launch their careers.
