Dwayne Johnson Won’t Endorse a Presidential Candidate in 2024 Election: ‘Between Me and the Ballot Box’

After endorsing Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson said he won’t publicly support any candidate in 2024.

In September 2020, the wrestler-turned-actor and self-described “political independent and centrist” broke from his personal tradition by throwing his weight behind the Biden and Kamala Harris ticket, which marked the first time he had ever backed a candidate in his decades-long career. However, in a new interview with Fox & Friends, Johnson said this time around, he won’t publicly endorse any candidates. The Rock has long been rumored as one of the entertainers to also harbor political aspirations, but Johnson said that isn’t in the cards any time soon; he has plenty of films in the works — the next installment of Fast & Furious, and the live-action Moana — to keep him busy outside of political office.
