Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson teases Moana 2 as he shares new trailer and movie poster for animated sequel
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson took to Instagram on Tuesday to tease the upcoming Moana sequel that comes out next month.
The upcoming second Moana film was announced this past February, with 23-year-old actress Auli'i Cravalho in talks to return as the beloved title character alongside Johnson's Maui. The sequel takes place three years after the 2016 original, with Moana 'on an expansive journey in search of people beyond the shores of Motunui,' according to a synopsis. 'It's our deepest honor to share the legends, songs, dances and traditions of our Polynesian culture with all of you and your families around the world,' he proclaimed on social media in July.
