The actor and producer has responded to a viral news story from April – but denied being eight hours’ late to filming
In an interview with GQ magazine, the actor and producer responded to claims made by industry news site the Wrap about his on-set behaviour during the filming of his latest movie, Christmas comedy Red One: “I’ve said a thousand times: ‘Hey, I’m here. Photograph: Frank Masi/APRed One director Jake Kasdan backed up his star, telling GQ that Johnson, who plays Santa’s bodyguard in the film, “never missed a day of work ever. Chris Evans, who co-stars in Red One, was also supportive: “In terms of the guy that I saw, compared to some of the things I’ve seen on other movies with other actors who are not only not conscious of other people’s time and efforts, but they’re unpredictable?
