Dulcé Sloan Leaving ‘The Daily Show’ After Seven Years
Comedian Dulcé Sloan is leaving 'The Daily Show' in an amicable situation following the expiration of her contract, Deadline can reveal.
Dulcé SloanGabe Botten This was an amicable parting of ways, sources said, as Sloan’s deal was up and she intends to relocate from New York to L.A. to focus more on her acting and stand-up. Other honors earned included a 2024 GLAAD Award Nomination for Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode for her interview with RuPaul’s Drag Race ‘s Sasha Colby on what it means to be a happy trans person. Seen in films like the indie comedy Chick Fight opposite Malin Ackerman and Alec Baldwin, her work outside of The Daily Show has also included the book Hello Friends: Stories of Dating, Destiny, and Day Jobs, which Penguin Random House published this past February.
