Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider, 64, reveals he has found love again one year after his wife died of breast cancer - and admits he 'wouldn't be here' if it wasn't for his new girlfriend

John, 64, confessed that he was 'ready to give it all up' and found 'the very notion of dating' to be 'repulsive' following the 'rough' loss of his wife - but everything changed when he met his new love.

But now, the star - who famously portrayed Beauregard 'Bo' Duke in the beloved CBS series- confirmed that he is dating someone new during a recent appearance on Grace Begins, The Podcast. The pair's split led to a lengthy court battle, which ultimately saw John sent to jail for failing to pay alimony for the couple's three children. Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com afterwards, the star - who released country music in the 1980s - said being labelled a racist was 'absurd and just ridiculous' as a dog marking a tree was 'an expression he's used his whole life.'
