Duffy Returns to Social Media 4 Years After Detailing Rape and Kidnapping

Duffy returned to Instagram earlier this week to share a motivational and inspirational message. The singer's post follows her four-year hiatus from the social media site after she publicly shared she had been raped and kidnapped.

The singer then shared a personal essay in April 2020, in which she provided harrowing details of the incidents that occurred during her birthday celebration. She made a brief return in 2015, when she recorded three songs for the Tom Hardy movie Legend, in which she also had a supporting role.
