Dua Lipa wrapped the Australian leg of her Radical Optimism world tour on March 29 with one last surprise for Sydney fans: a stripped-back duet of “Big Jet Plane” alongside Angus Stone. The tour kicked off in Melbourne with a full-throttle rendition of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell,” followed by Natalie Imbruglia’s “Torn,” Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” and a standout moment where she brought out Troye Sivan for “Rush.” Other local tributes included Vance Joy (“Riptide”), INXS (“Never Tear Us Apart”), and show-stopping appearances from Troye Sivan, and Kevin Parker of Tame Impala for “The Less I Know the Better.” All eight covers highlighted a different era of Australian music and showcased Lipa’s deep appreciation for the country’s diverse soundscape.
