Drug Cartel Member Sues Diddy, 50 Cent Reacts

A Sinaloa cartel member sued Diddy for alleged defamation, seeking $666,000 in damages. 50 Cent shared his disbelief on Instagram.

The rapper took to Instagram on Monday to share a story from , which reported that Alfredo P. Gonzalez, who claims to be part of the notorious Sinaloa drug cartel, attempted to file a lawsuit against Diddy and Bad Boy Entertainment. She also noted that the claims were baseless, lacking “an arguable basis either in law or in fact.” The judge even denied Gonzalez the opportunity to amend his lawsuit, concluding that the issues with the case were too significant to fix. In his lawsuit, Gonzalez claimed that after refusing certain offers, he was warned that his life would be made “hell” due to the “power [Combs] has in the streets.” He argued that this led to the loss of his New York drug cartel business connections, but the court found his accusations to be without merit.
