Dropkick Murphys, Cat Power to Honor Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan at NYC Concert

Dropkick Murphys, Cat Power and more artists will perform at a St. Patricks' Day show in NYC to honor the late Sinéad O'Connor and Shane MacGowan.

On Monday, Carnegie Hall announced a one-night-only tribute show for the two musicians, featuring the likes of Cat Power, Dropkick Murphys, and David Gray on March 20, with 100 percent of net proceeds going to charity. Glen Hansard, Amanda Palmer, Eugene Hütz, the Moutain Goats, Julia Cumming of Sunflower Bean, Kat Edmonson, and the Resistance Revival Chorus are also scheduled to make appearances. RTE reported that the musician was discharged from the hospital on Nov. 22 and returned home, where he later died on Nov. 30 while in the company of his wife Victoria Mary Clarke and other family members.
