Drew Barrymore Tells Maya Rudolph She Had To Beg To Do ‘SNL’ Digital Short “Body Fuzion”
Drew Barrymore had Maya Rudolph as a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show and recalled she had to beg to do the Saturday Night Live digital short "Body Fuzion."
The daytime show host recalled that back in 2007, she had to plead to do the skit that parodied ’80s workout videos. Lonely Island, consisting of Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer, produced the skit that almost didn’t happen. “Body Fuzion” featured Rudolph, Kristen Wiig and Amy Poehler as they followed instructor Barrymore’s lead in low-impact workouts.
