Drew Barrymore reunites with her ET director Steven Spielberg over 40 years after their blockbuster was released
Drew Barrymore posed with a longtime friend on Sunday. The talk show host was seen on the red carpet with her ET: The Extra-Terrestrial director Steven Spielberg.
This comes almost 30 years after he told the Hollywood wild child to cover up after she posed nude in January 1995 for Hugh Hefner's Playboy magazine. He became a parental figure to Barrymore, taking her on trips to Disneyland, letting her stay with him on weekends, and giving her a cat named Gertie. In 2022, the actress shared behind-the-scenes photos to celebrate the film's 40th anniversary, including several heartwarming snaps in which she was seen with director Spielberg.
