He died at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, with his representative confirming the news but stating that his family didn't plan to reveal the cause of death at this time. He had also previously won three Tony Awards in the featured actor in a musical category for his performances in Sophisticated Ladies, The Tap Dance Kid, and Miss Saigon.
