The Young Money ties are running deep, as Drake has shown support for Lil Wayne after some in the hip-hop community were outraged Weezy was overlooked for Kendrick Lamar to headline the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show next year. The 6 God posted a series of photos of his mentor to his Instagram Story on Tuesday evening (Sept. 10), seemingly demonstrating solidarity with Wayne being snubbed for the big game, which returns to the “Uproar” rapper’s hometown of New Orleans on Feb. 9, 2025. No Limit Records boss Master P, Cam’ron and Mase have also voiced their frustrations with the move to not give Wayne his flowers.
