Dr. Dre Says Wants to Tryout for USA Archery Team at 2028 Olympics: ‘I Feel Like I Could Do Anything’

Dr. Dre wants to try his hand at archery when the Olympics come to L.A. in 2028. See what he had to say about a potential tryout for the U.S. team.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Dre revealed his history with archery goes back to junior high school and he’s continued to hone his skills with target practice in his backyard. Dre and Snoop reunited on stage with a performance of “The Next Episode” as part of the Olympics’ Closing Ceremony on Sunday (Aug. 11) when Paris handed over the baton to LA28 to begin the hype train for the Games’ anticipated City of Angels threepeat. With breakdancing making its debut in Paris, Dr. Dre added that he believes the IOC needs to get back to the drawing board when it comes to breaking as a medal sport; the newest addition to the Olympics roster won’t be a competition at the 2028 Games.
