Dr Michael Mosley confirmed dead after going missing on Greek island - as his devastated wife pays tribute


This Morning's Dr Michael Mosley has sadly been confirmed dead by police after he went missing on Wednesday 5 June during a walk on his family holiday to the Greek island of Symi and an extensive search operation was launched

The body, with an umbrella close by, was discovered in a rocky area beside Agia Marina on Symi on Sunday 9 June after an extensive search operation led by emergency workers, around 30 minutes walk from the village of Pedi where Mosley was last seen. A search was launched for the doctor after he vanished while on a hike (Image: Facebook)The broadcaster and dad of four was most well known for championing the intermittent fasting 5:2 diet, and for pushing his own body to extreme lengths to document the effects first-hand.
