Stepping into the shoes of the main character is actor Hugh Bonneville, globally recognised for his role as the Earl of Grantham in the Downton Abbey series and film franchise. Stage actor Simon Russell Beale has appeared in Volpone, Uncle Vanya and The Lehman Trilogy and has previously won two BAFTAs and three Olivier Awards.
