Doug Liman Confirms Tom Cruise’s Involvement With Supernatural Thriller ‘Deeper’
Tom Cruise is attached to star in 'Deeper,' a thriller that Doug Liman has in development, the filmmaker has revealed.
Originally, Bradley Cooper was to star, with Kornél Mundruczó directing; Idris Elba and filmmaker Baltasar Kormákur teamed on a later iteration that likewise failed to move forward. Coming off of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, the follow-up to which hits theaters next year, he’s next set to roll cameras on a new Alejandro G. Iñárritu film for Warner Bros and Legendary, about which not much is known. Both films have sequels in development, though if Liman ends up involved with either of those projects, it’ll likely be the latter, given his clash with Amazon over Road House ‘ streaming release.
