Double SXSW Winner ‘Bob Trevino Likes It’ With Barbie Ferreira And John Leguizamo Lands At Roadside Attractions
Roadside Attractions has acquired rights to Bob Trevino Likes It after the indie comedy drama won the Audience Award and Grand Jury Award at SXSW.
The pic, written and directed by Tracie Laymon, stars Euphoria ‘s Barbie Ferreira, John Leguizamo, French Stewart, Lauren “Lolo” Spencer and Rachel Bay Jones. Laymon, Sean Mullin, Edgar Rosa, and Felipe Dieppa produced the pic, which qualified for a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement to shoot during last year’s actors strike. “Tracie Laymon’s beautiful film is about finding family and community where you least expect it, and has revelatory performances from Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo,” Roadside’s Cohen and co-president Eric d’Arbeloff said.
