Dori Media Launches Sales Office in India, Taps Devdatta Potnis to Run It (EXCLUSIVE)
Dori Media Group is expanding its global reach, launching a sales office in India where it has tapped media exec Devdatta Potnis to run it.
The studio behind such international hits as “In Treatment,” “Losing Alice,” “ Lalola,” “The New Black” and “Power Couple” already has outposts in Israel, Spain, Switzerland and Argentina. He also previously served as chief growth officer at India and Singapore-based animation studio Cosmos-Maya, where he played a pivotal role in leading the company’s sales of more than 25 TV series. Potnis concurred: “Dori Media has a world-class catalogue of programming and produces and distributes many of the top hits in our industry, series often filled with powerful human emotions that resonate with audiences and win hearts globally, including here in India.
