The New Kids on the Block singer has made some interesting revelations about filming the show’s series finale and portraying the well-liked NYPD detective. Despite whatever ends up happening to his character, Donnie said that he is “just incredibly grateful” for “the journey” that he has had on Blue Bloods during an October 2024 interview with TV Guide Magazine. I think the same kind of tears we had but there is a very sad scene that happens in the middle of the final episode which will be very emotional, but I think the audience is going to be really happy,” Donnie said during an appearance on Andy Cohen’s radio show in October 2024.
