Donnie Wahlberg’s ‘Blue Bloods’ Offshoot: What We Know About the New CBS Drama ‘Boston Blue’
Donnie Wahlberg has officially landed his own Blue Bloods offshoot but it won't take place in New York like the original series. What to know about the show.
CBS officially announced the franchise’s newest iteration, an offshoot which will star series favorite Donnie Wahlberg, in February 2025. Before the announcement was made, many of the show’s original cast members voiced interest in doing a spinoff or continuation of the franchise, including Abigail Hawk. While no exact premiere date has been announced, CBS shared that Boston Blue will be making its way to the TV lineup in the 2025-2026 broadcast season.
