Donnie Wahlberg Speaks Out After Landing New ‘Blue Bloods’ Offshoot Series: ‘Thankful’
Donnie Wahlberg broke his silence online after CBS announced he would be starring in Boston Blue, an expansion of the Blue Bloods franchise set in Boston.
On Tuesday, February 18, CBS announced that the New Kids on the Block member will be leading an upcoming offshoot series called Boston Blue. Donnie, 55, spoke out about the project in a post featured in his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, February 19, after the exciting news was revealed in a press release. However, a source told Closer that Tom Selleck is interested in making a cameo in the new show, which is slated to premiere sometime during the 2025-2026 broadcast season.
