Donnie Wahlberg knows that the ending of Blue Bloods will be emotional for those watching at home, but he shared a hopeful update about the future of the franchise. “We don’t have anything that’s going to be in development soon but it’s a brand, a title and a show that is beloved,” CBS Studios President David Stapf told Deadline back in July. Leading man Tom Selleck also addressed spinoff speculation, saying that he would be open to it only if it meant his character, Frank Reagan, was still working in NYC.
