Donald Trump’s New York Criminal Trial To Start On March 25 After Judge Rejects Effort To Delay Or Dismiss Case
The case would be the first of the former president's criminal cases to proceed this year.
Trump is facing charges including falsification of business records tied to the hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels in advance of the 2016 election. A federal criminal trial over charges that Trump conspired to remain in office despite losing the 2020 presidential election has been paused as his attorneys pursue appeals. Also today, a judge is holding a misconduct hearing on whether the Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis, and special prosecutor Nathan Wade misused public funds.
