Donald Trump ‘s campaign says that the former President is safe, following a shooting described by the FBI as “what appears to be an attempted assassination” at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Fla. on Sunday. Authorities have arrested suspect Ryan Wesley Routh, who pointed an AK-style rifle with a scope as Trump was on the course, per the Associated Press. The incident comes nine weeks after Trump was shot and injured in an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pa., where a bullet grazed his ear.
