Donald Trump wants Elon Musk to lead a "government efficiency commission."
The Presidential hopeful has said the Tesla and X owner could lead a “government efficiency commission” should Trump win the election in November. Speaking the Economic Club in New York yesterday, he said Musk had agreed to oversee a “complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government” and would “recommendations for drastic reforms.” In a statement to the BBC, Trump campaign advisor Brian Hughes said: “It is premature to discuss any prospective personnel in the next administration, but we welcome the enthusiasm and support of Elon Musk.”
