The twice-impeached former U.S. president shared his thoughts on the pop star in a new book titled Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass, an excerpt of which Variety published Monday (June 10). When asked about the endorsement at the time, the then-president told reporters, “Let’s just say I like Taylor’s music about 25% less now, OK?” Bredesen ended up losing to Republican Marsha Blackburn — whom Swift called “Trump in a wig” in her 2020 Netflix film Miss Americana — while Cooper kept his seat.
