Donald Trump denied 'fake' and 'probably illegal rumors' that he is interested in selling his DJT shares in Truth Social's parent company.
“There are fake, untrue, and probably illegal rumors and/or statements made by, perhaps, market manipulators or short sellers, that I am interested in selling shares of Truth. In September, Trump had said he has “absolutely no intention” of selling his TMTG shares after the expiration of the lockup period on insider stock sales. Now that Trump has won a second term as U.S. president, federal ethics rules might require him to sell stock to avoid a potential conflict of interest, the New York Times has reported.
