Don’t Go In The Water: Los Angeles County Advises Against Swimming In Some Major Beach Areas


Swimming, surfing, and splashing advisories are out for the hot holiday weekend.

Sure, it’s hot in Los Angeles for the long holiday weekend, and expected to get even hotter. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has issued ocean water use warnings for about a dozen beaches and multiple piers. Swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters at area beaches under watch should be avoided because of high bacteria warnings.
